- 1 whole chicken
- 1cup sliced celery
- 1 bag mini carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- 1 onion-peeled
- 1 container chicken stock
- 2 containers of chicken broth
- 1 12oz can tomato sauce
- 1tsp salt
- 1tsp pepper
- 6 potatoes
- 1 pkg kluski noodles
Rinse chicken and place in pot. Add carrots,celery, parsley, onion, chicken stock and broth, salt, pepper and fill pot 3/4 way full with water after adding above ingredients.
Bring to boil for 1 hour, remove chicken and add potatoes and tomato sauce.
Begin cooking noodles in separate pot till soft.
Cut up chicken and remove bones. Place back into pot and continue cooking.
When potatoes and noodles are done, the soup is done.
(Keep noodles out of soup until it cools. Best if bowls are made by adding noodles 1st then adding soup.)
